My name is Mwende Mutuli Musau, but you can call me Tuli. Since 2020, I've been a freelance journalist and content creator specializing in travel, food, culture, and lifestyle. I've published over 120+ articles for 30 prominent publications, blogs, businesses, brands, and tourism boards.
Bylines published in BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, Fodor's Travel, Condé Nast Traveler, Food & Wine, Intrepid Travel, Viator Travel, World Nomads, Ethiopian Airlines, among others.

Do you work with complete beginners?
This program is for writers of all levels. As a matter of fact, I made this program for complete beginners because I received mentorship for two years while I was doing my undergrad. I genuinely believe that having a mentor is what gave me the "in" into the BBC because he leveraged his professional network in conjunction with my hard work to get me through the door. I believe that luck is when hard work meets opportunity. This is the first step to your writing success.
What if I get stuck?
I'm here to hold your hand through the grueling journey. I'm not going to sit here and lie to you that writing is all rainbows and sunshine. There will be dark times, but I'll be standing at the end of the tunnel with a flashlight to get you out!
What happens after 6 months?
After six months, if you would like to continue, you'll have to pay a monthly retainer of $550.
Am I guaranteed to get published?
I guarantee the framework works. I can't guarantee every pitch lands, because editors make their own calls. But my students have proven it: follow the system, and the paid work comes.
